Halloween was beautiful this year here at The Haunted Home. We had blue skies and about 60 degree weather. I have worked incredibly hard this year with Leota to be able to have her out front with me where she doesn’t bark at people, despite her judgey looks.

While we waited on Trick or Treaters we did carve Pumpkins, and had some amazing fun with our friends. Unfortunately, our first year in our own home we didn’t get too many kids. We had maybe 3 families and a total of 10 kids. But hey, more candy for myself and my sweet Hubby to Be.
I strongly believe that over the years Halloween has slowly become less and less what it was in 90s or early 2000s. The amount of kids we saw this year was sad and I really love Halloween. I really think, unfortunately, with COVID still around, many are still nervous about going door to door.

Either way we still had fun with our friends and Leota had a blast with her best friend, Dawson the Corgi.
